Ed Leach Joins Passaic County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors

Ed Leach, Partner and Wealth Advisor, is joining the Board of Directors for Passaic County Habitat for Humanity starting this January.

By stepping into this volunteer leadership role, Ed will contribute his personal time and energy to advancing Passaic County Habitat’s mission of building homes, communities, and hope. Drawing on years of professional experience as a Partner and Wealth Advisor at HIGHLAND, he brings valuable leadership and financial expertise to Habitat.

“Volunteering at HIGHLAND’s Annual Build Days made me realize just how often we take safe, affordable housing for granted,” says Ed. “Habitat is changing that—one home at a time—by giving families a chance to build and own a place they can truly call home, and I’m proud to help be part of that change.”

Passaic County Habitat works together with families, local communities, volunteers and partners from around New Jersey so that more people are able to live in affordable and safe homes. Habitat’s advocacy efforts focus on policy reform to remove systemic barriers preventing low-income and historically underserved families from accessing adequate, affordable shelter. Since 1984, Passaic County Habitat for Humanity has built over 285 homes and has helped over 355 families.

At HIGHLAND Financial Advisors, we’ve always believed in actively supporting the places we call home. By devoting our time, effort, and enthusiasm to volunteerism, we deepen our connections with our neighbors and strengthen the fabric of our communities. Whether we’re helping build homes, coaching the next generation, championing local health initiatives, volunteering at animal shelters, or collaborating on community programs, we recognize that even the smallest acts of service can create meaningful, lasting change.

Ed’s dedication to volunteering reflects this broader commitment at HIGHLAND Financial Advisors to give back to the places we call home. We look forward to supporting him in this new chapter and are excited to see the positive impact he’ll make alongside Passaic County Habitat for Humanity.
